Virginia Cancer Plan & Lung Cancer
This document provides an overview of the Virginia Cancer Plan and our efforts to increase lung cancer screening across Virginia.
Quarterly Meetings
VLCRT hosts virtual quarterly meetings. The 2026 meeting dates are April 21 and July 21 at 3:30 pm.
Virginia Lung Cancer Screening Learning Collaborative
VLCRT is partnering with VDH to offer a Lung Cancer Screening Learning Collaborative. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related mortality for all Virginians, yet in 2024 only 23.3% of high-risk Virginians were screened. The knowledge and resources shared during the collaborative will aid participating organizations in increasing lung cancer screening rates within their patient population. To learn more about the learning collaborative, download the program flyer.
