The 2018-2022 Virginia Cancer Plan provides a roadmap for the next five years to help Virginia residents address the burden of cancer. The plan provides data, guidance, information, and links to resources for all Virginians. The goals of the plan can be addressed throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and require the engagement and collaboration of individuals and organizations involved in cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and posttreatment care for Virginia residents.
By order of House Joint Resolution No. 56 of the Virginia General Assembly, the Cancer Action Coalition of Virginia is required to annually submit an update on activities and accomplishments related to addressing cancer in the Commonwealth.
