Virginia Cancer Conference

Conference Overview

The Virginia Cancer Conference is hosted by CACV biennially to provide education and training to key stakeholders in the Virginia cancer community.  The Virginia Cancer Conference is scheduled for September 28-29, 2023, at the Richmond Marriott Short Pump and our theme is Moving Forward Together.

In 2023, CACV will release the new five-year Virginia Cancer Plan (2023-2027). The conference will be a pivotal moment to chart the course for action to reach the goals outlined in the plan. It is only together that we can reduce the burden of cancer in every community across Virginia.

The conference is attended by physicians, nurses, clinical social workers, patient navigators, health educators, survivors, caregivers, advocates, and community members. We anticipate about 150 attendees representing all of Virginia.
