The Virginia Breast Cancer Roundtable (VBCRT) is focused on reducing the burden of breast cancer in Virginia as outlined in the Virginia Cancer Plan.
Objectives
- Facilitate partnerships across Virginia to enhance shared knowledge and best practices to increase breast cancer screening and improve treatment outcomes.
- Eliminate disparities and reduce mortality.
- Provide education to physicians, other healthcare providers, and the public about current national breast cancer screening guidelines.
- Increase awareness of breast cancer risk and screening options.
- Advocate for increased access to breast cancer screening for all Virginians.
