Committees

Our committees are important leadership groups tasked with various key functions of the organization.

Advocacy/Policy Committee
The committee provides direction, planning, and general oversight to policy issues that relate to reducing the burden of cancer in Virginia.

Conference Program Committee
The committee plans the program content for the Virginia Cancer Conference.

Data & Evaluation Committee
The committee monitors the progress of the Virginia Cancer Plan implementation; gathers appropriate data; and prepares and distributes regular reports on the plan outcomes.

Membership Committee
The committee works to recruit, retain, and engage the Virginia cancer community to implement the Virginia Cancer Plan and become active members of CACV.

Program Committee

The committee develops the agenda and program content for quarterly meetings and other CACV events.
