CACV 2025 Award winners honored during the VCC 2025 in Richmond.

CACV’s Award Program celebrates individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions in cancer control and prevention in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Award Type and Description

CACV Legislative Advocate Award
This award is given to a legislative advocate in recognition of significant contributions in the fight against cancer in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

CACV Outstanding Member Award
The Outstanding Member award is given to a CACV member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to advance cancer control and prevention efforts in Virginia by dedicating time, talent, and expertise to the coalition and the implementation of the Virginia Cancer Plan. The recipient must be a member of CACV.

CACV Partner Award
The CACV Partner Award honors an individual, organization or business who has helped advance cancer control and prevention in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The spirit of this award is to recognize outstanding work and collaboration to enhance the mission of CACV and advance the goals of the Virginia Cancer Plan. Up to two awards will be given. The recipient may be, but is not required to be, a member of CACV.
