About the Conference

Meeting Overview

The Virginia Cancer Conference is an opportunity for the Cancer Action Coalition of Virginia to provide education and training to key stakeholders in the Virginia cancer community. The conference is attended by physicians, nurses, clinical social workers, patient navigators, survivors, caregivers, advocates, and community members.

Registration Rates

Attendee registration includes admission to all lecture sessions, poster sessions, the cocktail reception, conference breakfasts, lunches, and refreshment breaks. The cost of attending this conference is $155.

Call for Abstracts

The Cancer Action Coalition of Virginia (CACV) is now accepting abstracts for display and presentation at the Virginia Cancer Conference on March 8-9, 2018 at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, VA.
* Deadline for abstracts: December 15, 2017 @ 5:00 PM EST.
* Notification of acceptance/rejection: January 12, 2018

This call for abstracts is focused on innovative practices that demonstrate collaboration in the mission to create a Virginia without cancer. The key concepts for presentation consideration include:

  • Prevention
  • Early Detection
  • Diagnosis and Cancer Directed Therapy
  • Survivorship and Palliative Care
  • Pediatric, Adolescent and Young Adult
  • Cross Cutting Themes: Navigation and Health Disparities
